A few months ago, Alejandro León and Juan Antonio Winter have been part of the Fluitek Board of Directors. Both with vast experience in the mining market, they will contribute with their experience and knowledge to the company’s business guidelines.
Alejando León is Vice President for Latin America of the company CR Mining, member of the mining committee of the company Michael Page and part of the Board of Fluitek since December 2019. Until 2018, he was President of Komatsu Mining Corporation (Ex-JoyGlobal) for Latin America. He joined JoyGlobal Chile in 1998 as Commercial Manager. In 2005 he was appointed General Manager for Chile and then in 2010 he was transferred in the same position to the South West of the USA. He worked for more than 10 years in different mining companies (Pelambres, Andacollo and Romeral) both in operations and in engineering. He has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry, he is a Civil Mining Engineer from the University of Chile and an MBA from the U. Chile / Tulane University.
Juan Antonio Winter joined Fluitek as director at the end of last year and also participates on the boards of FastSigns Chile and Khishka. He spent most of his professional career in the mining and earthmoving equipment industry, in both commercial and operational roles, reaching the position of Vice President of Mining for Finning South America, the largest representative of Caterpillar equipment worldwide. He lived and worked in Argentina, Canada, New Zealand and Chile.
Juan Antonio is a Mechanical Civil Engineer and a Master in Engineering Sciences, both from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
